After visiting so many wonderful blogs in the last couple of days, I decided to try my hand at something altered.
When stash diving in my boxes of little flowers (here's one)
I came across these forgotten items:
Do you remember when Prima came out with these little tins of paper flowers a few years ago? I snatched up a bunch on clearance. Two of the larger round ones have magnets on the back. I cleaned off the adhesive residue on the front with plain alcohol (my fav cleaner)
So, this is my first attempt:
(one of the magnet ones) I'm stuck on these colors, in a good way, because they make me happy. Why not? I think that if you click on the picture you'll be able to see the detail better.
So, I would really appreciate some advice on this. Is it finished? What does it need? I'm open to suggestions!
Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!
Hugs!!

I agree with the others, it is definitely finished and it is stunning. I would make some more of the same in different colours, I think you have a winning combination here.
ReplyDeletePerfect as is!
ReplyDeleteFinished? I've no idea, hopeless at that sort of decision! FABULOUS? oh yeah! Great idea, what a fab gift!
ReplyDeleteI'm late WOYWW visitng and so am browsing blog posts I wouldn't normally get to,it's wonderful! BUT - I have to be able to see something of your postcard collection...how fascinating that pile of boxes became to me when you said what it holds!
I think you have done a fabulous job and I love your color scheme. I remember those tins and how small they are. Your piece is a delicate little treasure. Yes, I think it is finished.
