For my brother. An easy way to make a wood grain background is to drag the edge of a stamp pad across the paper. To make knot holes, take the corner of the stamp pad and free hand circles and drag the edges of them. The measuring tape is just one of mine I copied on the copier and distressed. The silver nails are just stamped in versamark with a pencil eraser and heat embossed with silver powder.
The inside of the card, same "wood" background, printed words and a real coffee cup stain. Taped with masking tape, of course.
So, I'm off to Texas in the morning to meet my third grandson!! I won't be posting until I get back in three weeks but I'll be checking in with all my lovely bloggy friends!!!
Hugs!
