Well... waiting for glitter glue to dry on the rose, trying to decide what else to do to it, looking at other color combos and mostly fun and foolishness. Kinda pleased that TPC Studio "Boho Blooms" goes so well with DCWV "Ciao Bella" paper stack. It doubles my options! That white, ceramic cabinet knob has nothing to do with any of this. I was thinking about using alcohol inks on it for a custom color for a cabinet I have.
I gave in (to myself) and added a side table to put coordinated projects on. This gave me more room under the desk side I work on and I can pull the chair up and sit to work. You can see how well that worked. Note chair in back left with piles of papers on it. I prefer to stand anyway. *sigh* I am considering one of those "spongy" mats that you stand on. I've already had vein therapy, I don't need to go through that again!
Well, off to work for a little while then back to check in with y'all!
Have a wonderful day!
hugs!

That's one lovely, well organised, crafting space. The white mesh stand on your desk looks a good idea to add another level for items in use. Thanks for the peek.
ReplyDeleteLots of yumminess to ogle at here Kat and don't you just love the way Boho Blooms rolls off the tongue!
ReplyDeleteWhat a super crafting space you have, youve sooo much room!
ReplyDeleteKeryn x
Ooh, I love that space - if only I had that amount to play in - or to mess up, lol. You look really organised. Love those curtains, too :D
ReplyDelete*Sigh* that's just such a lovely room, I especially love the paint colour.

ReplyDeleteWhat a massive craft room. Soo jealous.
ReplyDeleteLuv Joanne xx
Great workspace, love the colours of the card you are working on. Perhaps, you could buy another chair to sit on He! He!
ReplyDeleteChrissyxx
I had to laugh at your post. I stand when crafting, too. It's something I feel comfortable doing. I really enjoyed the chair. I see you have it put to good use, at least. And the final thing that made me laugh today was this post's label: craft desk mess! Very funny post. Thanks for the laugh this WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteHonestly Kathryn, I don't know what impresses me most - your tidy and flowing with creativity environment or the fact that you prefer to stand to the pint of committing your chair to the corner! Get the spongy mat gal, do whatever will help - alhtough a chair on castors may be more fun!!
ReplyDeleteOhhh your space is fabulous. Love that idea of the desk away from the wall, that makes stuff accessible behind you and looks like it really works well. Leandra
ReplyDeleteLove your crafting area ....but no matter how much space a crafter creates it takes moments to fill it all up.
ReplyDeleteyou need a pair of those lovely think tights that help the circualtion!!!!
ReplyDeletehahahah
Its spite coming out in me cos I want your workspace!
thick not think
ReplyDeleteDearest Doone,
ReplyDeleteI think "think" tights work work wonders for me!
Maybe they would help circulation to my brain!
HA!
Thanks for the laugh and for looking!

Well I swear! That last comment (written by me) came up as my husbands account! Maybe he actually would agree with my comment but, he didn't say it. Sometimes sharing a computer sucks...er can be complicated???!
ReplyDeletekat
Now that looks like a very productive craftroom !!
ReplyDeleteOh what a fabulous workspace and lots of yumminess on it too!
ReplyDeleteChrissie
wow, so much space and storage! i love it! i've tried out those mats and they feel great!
ReplyDeleteLook at that wonderful creative space for a wonderful creative person. Wow! I use my lack of crafting space as a (lame) excuse for not doing more of it...
