MIA.  That was me in the true sense of the phrase!  Between working and the power being out for almost 24 hours (!!!)  I missed my blogging friends and blogs!!  I did stay in action though.  Even worked by lantern light on a couple of things like finishing my inchies for Jana's Inchie Swap

Below are some cards that I can show that I made last week.  I made some other commissioned, personalized cards for friends.
So, have I mentioned before that I am cheap?
The pink and teal cards were made with a package of die cuts I got on clearance.  (They were on my WOYWW post last week.)  The flowers were dollar bin finds so, all in all pretty inexpensive cards.  The cake card is made with DCWV Linen stack papers and some self-adhesive felt die cuts.  Simple and easy- peasy.

**A great big THANKS to Gingersnap Creations for choosing my card in the Quotes challenge!!!
If you have never been to this site, you should really check it out!  I love the challenges and getting to see the wonderful work of the many, many talented artists there!  Click on the badge on my sidebar.

Have a wonderful day all and thanks so much for looking!

  1. Hey nothing wrong with cheap! I am always looking for a deal, because there are those times that you won't get the deal. All three of your cards are fabulous! Never thought of making a cake!!!!

  2. I love these cards. The colors are so soft and pretty. Great cake card. So glad that you joined in on the inchie swap. So dedicated to work by lantern light. Can't wait to see them.

  3. Love them all and especially the bird on the cake thats just the sweetest card ever.
    hugs June xxxx
