What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!

I cleaned!! Out of necessity.  Around 4 am yesterday a tall stack of boxes containing postcards came crashing down.  One thing led to another.

Still pondering the blue lady on the right while gathering pinks for the little girl on the left.  Images by Retro Cafe Art.

Pop over the Julia's blog to join the workdesk snoop!  http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/

Thanks for visiting and have a great week!

Emerald and Alabaster

I recently received a freebee collage sheet from the wonderful Kristen over at Retro Cafe.
I was drawn to this image in particular (though I have plans for the others).

I dyed the crystal leaves and beads on the pins with Ranger alcohol ink (Meadow)
The finished size is 5.5" x 2.5" and I added magnet strips on the back.
Thanks for looking and your comments!!

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!

I took these pictures last night.  In a word: Ridiculous!
Wednesdays are when we craft bloggers "bare it all".  Check out the fun over at Julia's

I want to show off this wonderful piece by Laura Carson that I won in a drawing on her blog

A Marie Antoinette clock.  It is about the size of an ATC.  Isn't exquisite!!!?  So detailed!
I highly recommend you check out her site!  It is so inspiring and she has monthly drawings for her work!
Just click on the Artfully Musing button on my sidebar.

So now I'm off to look at your workdesks!  Thanks for visiting me today!!

Happy Easter

My quick and easy cards for family and friends this year.
I mostly used K&Co. dimensional stickers and coordinating paper, printed sentiments and ribbons

This one has a crochet element by my friend Linda Harris.  I sent this one to her.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Well, Shut My Mouth and Color Me Red!

Last week I posted pictures of my Amelia tags that I submitted in 2010.  Said I didn't know what happened to them.  Then low and behold I received this in the mail this morning
An advance copy of the new issue of Stamper's Sampler.  And, right there on pages 56 and 57...
Amelia!  So, there ya go!  I love surprises like this!

Turns out it was a great day all around.  Finding out my work was published, got to have lunch with Mr. N., found out my mammogram and ultrasound was negative (I'm an 11 year breast cancer survivor), got to go to a nice craft store, the sun was shining... you get it.
Thanks for visiting and your comments!!!!
Hugs!
