What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!

Long, long, long time since I've posted on WOYWW!  I have been busy though, not just lying on the sofa eating bonbons!
Here is a shot of the current mess I call "creative fallout"  Ha!
Just finished a batch of Baby Girls cards so, there is still a lot of pink scattered about.  Can't wait to use the new stamp set (on the left) by The Girls' Paperie!
Just HAD TO HAVE this new product by Cosmo Cricket!!!  One store I tried was already sold out and the second one only had a couple left so I snagged one package!  This is a pic of my first flower made of coffee stained muslin.  SO easy and fun!  You can check out the Cosmo Cricket demo video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RXq16qa5HE&feature=related  You will want to rush out and get this product straight away!
This is another product that HAD to treat myself to.  I have a sewing machine.  Yeah, not my thing, so much although I admire and envy those that have the talent (and patience) to sew.  I didn't inherit my mother's  genes in this area.  So, when I saw this product by We R Memory Keepers I thought maybe now I can get that stitched look that is so popular without pulling my hair out!  It is extremely affordable too!  I haven't had a chance to use it yet but, soon, soon...  You can check out a video on this here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EoC-TKGlEY&feature=autoplay&list=PLB147E20EE5B15773&index=11&playnext=2

So check back sometime soon and see what I make of all this.
Thanks for visiting and your comments!
Hugs!!

GC97: Chestnut Theme Challenge - Geishas

I made this card using a postcard of a Geisha from my collection, heat embossed stamped Asian symbols and bamboo and a silk orchid embellishment.  You can look at all the wonderful cards submitted to this challenge here: http://gingersnapcreations.blogspot.com/2011/04/gc97-chestnut-theme-challenge-geishas.html
